Metamorphosis Art Exhibit, Stevenson Library

Inspired by Origami Revolution and Japanese Notan Students K-10 explored theme of Metamorphosis and Transformation.

9th grade artist create "Kianga Tiles"

Students learned Principles of Design and Color Theory creating "Tiles" inspired by Multi Media Artist Michelle Petelinz of Raleigh, North Carolina. We had a video conference with the artist- sharing on the creative process, where inspiration comes from and design challenges. We may be in Mill A but the world is at our fingertips.
